Session One

This webinar will kick off our first day of National Expungement Week (N.E.W.). Tarra Simmons, the Director of the Civil Survival Project, will launch this series. We will have national speakers Torie Marshall, Visionary & Founder of N.E.W. Director, Cage-Free Repair, and Zaki Smith, Policy Entrepreneur Next 100 will talk about the importance of the expungement/vacation movement, local leader Drew Hanson, WA stare Representative in the 23rd LD will talk about our Clean Slate efforts here in Washington State.

Session Two

Civil Survival Project Staff Attorney Sarai Cook will provide client-centered training. The training will cover the ways an individual can help themselves around LFO relief.

Session Three

Our newest Staff Attorney Jacob Kuykendall will provide training around self-help methods for vacating felonies in Washington State.

Session Four

Staff Attorney Jacob Kuykendall will provide training around self-help methods for vacating misdemeanors in Washington State.

Session Five

Marijuana has been legal in Washington State for many years now, yet Washingtonians are still suffering from the effects of its criminalization. This webinar will seek to shed light on ways that marijuana criminalization continues to hurt and marginalize people.
