Join us for our one-day legislative advocacy workshop led by formerly incarcerated individuals. We teach social justice advocacy to those who have been impacted by the criminal legal system.
We will talk about barriers we experience, the importance of organizing, how a bill becomes a law, how to have our voices heard, and practice telling our stories to elected officials. Collectively we have the power to influence the laws that impact our lives and increase our access to opportunity after incarceration.
