Pioneer Center North (PCN) is a voluntary treatment facility that provides residential treatment for people who are struggling with substance use disorders and chronic behavioral health issues. An inter-disciplinary team of substance abuse counselors, case managers, nurses and other specialists coordinate a comprehensive range of services to meet this population’s unique needs. The average resident receives 30 to 50 hours of programming a week. Evaluations/referrals and applications are pre-requisites. Program accepts individuals who are 18 years and older who meet the criteria for intensive inpatient services or long-term residential treatment. The following payment methods are accepted: Medicaid, Washington state Apple Health, Fee for Service (Native American population), CJTA funding and private pay. Private insurance is not accepted. The Skagit Community Detox center is a 16-bed sub-acute detoxification program that ensures safe withdrawal from alcohol and drugs, provides substance use disorder assessment referrals, and assists clients with arranging aftercare. The Center serves North Sound region adult residents for detox and provides services for those in crisis due to their substance abuse disorders. It offers a 7-day Suboxone Tapering Program for opioid addition. Individuals can self-refer if in crisis.
