by | Jan 21, 2018

Tarra Simmons, Executive Director of Civil Survival, recently spoke to Eric Tegethoff from the Public News Service about a new bill, called the Fair Chance Act, proposing a statewide Ban the Box law. Simmons explains that similar laws adopted elsewhere have increased opportunities for former inmates to find employment, thereby helping to break the cycle of incarceration.
